View From The Peg

The latest view from the peg is when the trio visited The Cunneries Fishery,Eccleston.

It was a very, very windy day and we chose to fish the main pool.

Top picture shows the view from my peg.As you walk onto the pool this peg is to your left and is looking towards the second island, the water level was up and at 11 metres my swim depth was approx 4 feet 6 inches ( 1.37mtrs )

I fished three swims in this peg and had plenty of roach, skimmers & chub,I also managed to bag a couple of goldfish type carp.

There are plenty of good sized chub in this water and more times than not you can catch them up in the water just short of the island, the final part of the day is normally quite good when the chub go on the feed.

Bottom picture shows Nelson and his peg with about 14metres to the corner of the island.
